Indicative content
Subject and methodology of economics. Development of economic thought. Economic laws and types of economies. The triad of economic problems. The market and market mechanism: demand, supply, equilibrium price. Elasticity of demand and supply. Decision-making of market participants in perfect and imperfect competition. Entrepreneurship. The market for production factors, income distribution, and quality of life. Sustainable development in the context of microeconomics. Sustainable development goals (SDG).
