Teaching results
The main objective of the subject "International Economic Relations" at the 3rd level of study is deepening knowledge and conducting analysis in combination with extensive interdisciplinary knowledge from several fields of study. It will serve as a basis for research and development, formulation of solutions to economic and legal problems and the creation of new scientific knowledge in international economic relations.
Knowledge:
• In-depth knowledge of economic, legal and political contexts of shaping the development trends of international economic relations
• Deep understanding of the causes of specific development trends
• Understanding and ability to critically evaluate the share of individual factors influencing the development of international economic relations
Competencies:
• To search for and analyze information from various scientific and other professional and specialized sources
• To carry out research at an appropriate level of qualification work
• To design and implement a specific research project
Skills:
• To design, justify and use research methods for a specific project
• To formulate scientific conclusions based on understanding and predicting broader contexts

World trade - factors influencing the current development of the commodity and territorial structure of world trade 5. The WTO and its importance for the liberalization of world trade today 6. International movement of capital - essence, current development trends, factors influencing the sectoral and territorial structure of international capital movement, legal aspects 7. International labor movement - nature, economic, political and environmental factors influencing geographical flows of international migration 8. Global environmental problems - their nature, possible solutions, international regulation of global environmental problems
Requirements to complete the course
The final evaluation is based on the elaboration of the project plan (40%) and the final work (60%).
