The aim of the project is to innovate the content of teaching in subjects focused on risk management (at the first and second level of study) and at the same time to implement new methods and forms of teaching with more intensive involvement of potential employers from practice in the pedagogical process.

KEGA 034EU-4/2016 Implementation of innovative teaching techniques in Insurance market course based on interactive methods using experimental approach, principal investigator / https://www.portalvs.sk/sk/prehlad-projektov/kega/10206 . The outputs of the solved project are: Insurance market (textbook), implementation of economic experiment and innovation in the content of selected subjects. Through the introduced new activating forms and methods of education, students have the opportunity to consolidate the acquired professional knowledge. A website was created for the course Insurance Market and as a part of the project solution, "Classroom experiment" was realized, in which the effect of unfavorable choice on the balance of the insurance market was tested. The benefit is also established cooperation with foreign universities, insurance companies and the National Bank of Slovakia in the form of workshops enabling a better understanding of the issues covered through examples given by experts from practice.

VEGA 1/0827/18 Experimental investigation of factors influencing group decision-making, principal decision making, co-investigator. The main objective of this project is to explore the practical issues of selecting members and the functioning of the groups responsible for managing different entities. Specifically, we want to improve the analysis of group decision making with the help of controlled economic laboratory experiments. Does having teams of decision makers whose wealth is not affected by the decision outcome (i.e. independent boards) result in better decision making?

VEGA 1/0466/19 The causes and consequences of suboptimal financial decisions of individuals with an emphasis on insurance decisions’ , co-investigator. The main aim of the proposed project is to identify the causes and factors affecting the suboptimal financial decisions of individuals in insurance and to specify the economic and social consequences of this phenomenon for society.
