Language knowledge
Master the language system with emphasis on frequent grammatical phenomena. Deepen and activate language knowledge and skills in the field of grammar and vocabulary, to point out at interference phenomena arising from Slovak or other foreign languages.
Language skills
Develop communicative skills, broaden vocabulary and phraseology in thematic areas from everyday reality. Acquire the ability to discuss, argue, present and exchange opinions. Deepen the ability to communicate fluently and spontaneously on everyday topics at an appropriate language level. Lead students to discussions, exchanging their views, to argumentation and confrontation within concrete thematic areas.
Language competences
Use language skills in a flexible and efficient way, be open to culture of target language, build a positive attitude to countries and citizens of English-speaking environment and learn about culture and language through foreign media.
