By completing the subject, students gain knowledge about the scientific aspects of consulting and its specific profiling from scientific management to support decision-making, solving and proposing solutions in the activities of companies. They will become familiar with the essence and benefits of consulting in managerial and marketing activities and in the field of process management. They will gain an overview of consulting models and the possibilities of their use in a corporate environment with the support of neuroscience, artificial intelligence and other intelligent systems, taking into account the ethical aspects of the consulting profession. They will become familiar with effective job counseling procedures with an emphasis on interim management. They will gain knowledge about processes in interim management and about the different and common elements and features of consulting and interim management, as well as about the position of consultant and interim manager.
Graduates of the subject will be able to create logically accurate and practically applicable solutions to management, marketing and process problems of companies. They will deepen their ability to use the methods of counseling diagnostics, which is a key element of the spectrum of counseling methods and approaches. They understand the scientific platform of management and marketing consulting, on the basis of which they can define the client's problems and identify their causes and determine the company's potential to solve the situation. They will learn to work with complex consulting problems based on the use of modern scientific approaches and intelligent systems. They understand interim management and its consulting potential. They will be able to carry out original research that pushes the boundaries of existing knowledge, generates new scientific knowledge or new process solutions; to propose tools and methods of effective response to the current conditions of the domestic, single European and world market.
After successfully completing the course, students will acquire competencies that will enable them to apply for consulting positions in all types of consulting companies, managerial positions in consulting companies, as well as interim manager positions in client organizations, in specialized marketing workplaces, and in the field of research and higher education. They can model consulting processes with objectivity, professional ethics and integrity in mind. They will be able to effectively approach the solution of temporary tasks in the client's organization. They will acquire the ability to use modern and effective work procedures in consulting and interim management.
