This selection provides an in-depth look at the major HR challenges in large companies operating within the shared service center market. HR experts from companies associated under the American Chamber of Commerce and its Business Service Center Forum (BSCF) provide case studies of diverse HR aspects based on the real-world processes and results of the companies in question. The course is also designed to develop students' critical thinking about the real challenges facing HR professionals, as well as to enhance their training for HR jobs.
The main learning methods used are Case studies, analysis of management texts, analysis of "big data", consultation and presentations in the field of communication, career counselling and self-presentation.

The literature consists of internal documents and case studies of companies based on the disposition of individual lecturers and the archives of the companies participating in the teaching of the course.
Requirements to complete the course
a) active participation in class - 40 % (40 points)
b) final professional essay on a selected topic from the course syllabus on the ability to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during the class to specific business situations in the field of HR - 60% (60 points)
