Knowledge:
• deepening theoretical knowledge of the history of French literature and the development of literary genres;
• acquiring specific knowledge related to the particular literary genre of the fairy tale in French literature, clarification of the cultural and literary specificities of this genre.
Competencies:
• acquiring competence in the comparative approach to the analysis of literary texts;
• acquiring competence in the analysis of literary texts in an intercultural context (comparison of different versions of one motif in non-national literatures);
• orientation in specific professional issues, i.e. in the intertextual and intercultural level of the development of the fairy tale genre in French literature.
Skills:
• consolidation of skills in narrative and thematic analysis of a literary text;
• ability to work critically with the instrument of secondary scientific literature for the purpose of independent professional treatment of the issue;
• consolidation of highly professional language skills in oral and written expression.
