Based on synthesizing the latest theoretical knowledge as futher development of existing research results of the project participants the project developed and empirically tested the model apparatus to explain the sources of competitiveness of national economies, their growth, competitiveness resource of companies and their survival in a globalized economic competition."

Debt episodes, fiscal policy and fiscal rules. Grant VEGA 1/0838/14. Research project solution period: 2014 - 2016. Participant of the project. The project focused on the analysis of the course of debt episodes, which marked the development of the world economy and national economies in recent decades. The project included empirical experiments to quantify fiscal sustainability. The project also resulted in recommendations / implications for fiscal policy makers and fiscal rules in the Slovak Republic and for regional groupings of countries with common specifics."

The financial position of the household sector in relation to gender-sensitive budgeting and social inequality. Solution period 2018-2020 VEGA grant scheme. Participant of the project. The aim of the project was to evaluate the financial behavior of households and changes in the structure of their financial assets and liabilities that occur during the economic cycle phase and to predict possible changes in the financial strength of the household sector in a globalized economy.

Innovations in the budgeting of local governments in Slovakia. Solution period: 2020 - 2023 Grant scheme APVV. Participant of the project. The research intent of the project is associated with three significant innovations: program budgeting, gender sensitive budgeting and participatory budgeting. In Slovakia, a comprehensive analysis of these innovations and their effects has not yet taken place. The aim of the project is to fill this research gap and identify not only the extent of their use, but also to analyze their various models, supporting elements and barriers to their implementation and expected and unexpected effects.
