The aim of the course is to acquire and further develop communicative skills in general conversation with the focus on grammatical accuracy, to expand vocabulary, acquire the ability to reproduce a simple text on general topics, to develop argumentation and discussion skills, or understand and reproduce basic knowledge of the civilisation of the target language at A2.2 level. After completing the course, the student is able to understand longer speeches and conversations. He/she is able to express himself/herself adequately on general topics and clearly formulate ideas and attitudes. In writing, he/she is able to express his/her views and attitudes and summarize his/her knowledge in an appropriate form. The student understands sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance. He/she can communicate in simple and routine situations requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and common matters. He/she can describe his/her family background, immediate surroundings and matters of necessity in simple terms.

1. Food, eating, nutrition. Frequency expressions.
2. Fashion, dress, description of appearance. Giving advice. Direct object pronouns.
3. Shopping on the Internet. Choosing a gift. Indirect object pronouns. Relative pronouns.
4. Shopping in stores and at a market. Payment methods.
5. Ordering in a restaurant. Writing a restaurant review. Expressing satisfaction and discontent.
6. Memories of the past. Past tense imperfect.
7. Life changes. Comparing past and present. Degrees of comparison of adjectives.
