Teaching results
The aim of the course is to convey basic knowledge of a foreign language at the A1.1 level. As an outcome, the student is able to understand and use familiar expressions from everyday life as well as basic phrases aimed at satisfying specific needs. He/she is able to read simple texts, understand common vocabulary on topics of everyday communication, understand the meaning of short and simple texts, is able to understand the basic information and the main topic of a simple spoken text. He/she can communicate in simple situations, ask and answer simple basic questions, is able to talk about himself/herself in a simple way, describe another person, express consent and disagreement, ask for information and also provide it. In a written speech, he/she is able to fill in a simple form, write a short e-mail or a postcard.
Indicative content
1. Greetings and acquaintance.
2. Description of the person. Verbs essere and avere.
3. Visit to the café. Communication with the waiter.
4. Telling time. Articulated prepositions.
5. My daily routine. Reflexive verbs.
6. City orientation. Compound prepositions.
