Language knowledge: The aim of the course is to convey basic knowledge of a foreign language at the A1 level. After completing the course, the student understands familiar expressions from everyday life and basic phrases aimed at satisfying specific needs and can also use them.
Language skills: The student can read simple texts, understands common vocabulary in topics of everyday communication, understands the meaning of short and simple texts, understands basic information and the main topic of spoken speech. He can communicate in simple situations, ask simple basic questions and answer them, he is able to talk about himself in a simple way, describe himself and another person, express consent and disagreement, ask for information and also provide it. He can fill in a simple form, write a short e-mail, postcard.
Language competences: The student is open to the target culture, to people who speak the target language. He builds a positive attitude towards people for whom German is their mother tongue and towards German-speaking countries.

- Numbers. Telephone numbers. Verb timing. Word formation.
- Family. Genitive of proper nouns.
- Languages. Question and answer formation.
- Furniture. Definite article.
- Number (up to million). Adjectives. Definite article, personal pronouns.
- Objects. Colours. Indefinite article.
- Materials. Negation.
- Office. Singular and plural.
- Computer. Declension in accusative.
