Knowledge:
The student will acquire knowledge in five critical areas important for successful job performance:
- Personal Brand
- Prioritization and Time Management
- Electronic correspondence in practice
- Preparing for a job interview
- Active listening
Competence:
- Become aware of their strengths and weaknesses when interacting with those around them and then develop a plan to put those aspects of their personality into practice.
- Recognize the difference in importance and urgency of tasks, identify habits in personal behavior that hinder productivity and effectiveness.
- Prepare for a job interview (CV, answers to potential questions,...)
- Conduct the personal interview in an "active listening" manner
- Recognize the attributes of economic correspondence that are critical for effective collaboration
Skill:
Students should be able to apply the above topics in practice after completing this course:
- Identify situations for effective self-presentation and act in these situations to make a personal brand positive and memorable.
- Write emails that are clear, concise, polite and effective (add value).
- Answer job interview questions in a way that conveys essential information and creates a good impression on the recruiter. Create a CV that appeals.
- When communicating verbally, be able to understand the other party first, rather than asserting your own arguments

30% participation and participation in assignments during the semester, 70% final project
