5. How to make practical and valuable recommendations.
6. Training in professional communication skills: Presentation skills, communication techniques.
7. Working on real projects I: Initial meetings with clients, division of team tasks.
8. Working on real projects II: Analyzing problems and finding solutions.
9. Workshop with practitioners: examples of good practice and discussions with consultants.
10. Action team building and cultural activities: visit to a selected company and team building activities.
11. Methods and techniques of creating consulting report.
12. Project finalization: Creation of deliverables and final report, preparation of presentations.

Syllabus
Syllabus of excercises: 1. Introduction to professional consulting and the nature of consulting/professional consulting - Students will gain an overview of consulting firms, their specializations, and the types of services they provide. The role of consultants and the value contribution of consulting to firms are discussed. 2. Project Management Fundamentals - The project cycle, the main methodologies and tools used in project management are introduced. Students will be introduced to the phases of a project and the principles of effective project management. 3. International Teams and Intercultural Collaboration - This seminar focuses on the challenges and benefits of working in international teams with an emphasis on intercultural communication and team dynamics. Students will try out model situations to improve collaboration. 4. Client Analysis and Needs Identification - Students will learn how to effectively analyze client needs, ask the right questions, and gather relevant information. Emphasis will be on practical interviewing techniques and data analysis. 5. Proposal and Recommendation Formation - The main part of the exercise will focus on the process of formulating recommendations and proposing solutions based on client needs. Students will learn how to present solutions clearly and persuasively. 6. Professional Communication Skills Training - A key focus is on presentation techniques, verbal and non-verbal communication, and dealing with challenging communication situations. Students will try practical exercises to improve their public speaking. 7. Working on real projects I - Students will have initial meetings with clients, learn about the project goals and divide the tasks in the team. Focus on planning the work and determining first steps. 8. Working on real Projects II - Teams will analyze client problems, identify major challenges, and begin to design solutions. Students will use consultative and analytical methods to process information. 9. Workshop with practitioners - Invited experts from consulting companies will present real projects and successful strategies. Students will have the opportunity to discuss and gain valuable practical advice. 10. Action team building and cultural activities - Students will engage in dynamic team building and cultural activities aimed at developing cooperation, team dynamics, trust, cohesion and building intercultural competence. 11. Methods and techniques of creating a consulting report - students will focus on the process of preparing a professional output, the aim is to introduce techniques and methods, learn to formulate recommendations that reflect the needs of the client. 12. Finalization of projects - Students will finalize the outputs of their projects, prepare a final report and fine-tune their presentations. We will focus on the quality of the deliverables and the visual aspect of the presentation. 13. Presentations of projects - Teams will present their projects to clients, defend their recommendations, and receive feedback. Both the content and presentation level of the deliverables will be evaluated. Students will receive feedback and recommendations for their further development.
