Knowledge:
- developed knowledge of pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar, as well as of topics of everyday life at the A2.1 level.
- to understand and reproduce basic knowledge about the civilisation of the target language at A2.1 level.
Competences:
- to understand phrases and the most common vocabulary in relation to topics that concern him/her directly (e.g., basic information about himself/herself and his/her family, shopping, local area, job).
- to understand the meaning of short, clear and simple messages and announcements.
- to read short, simple texts.
- to identify particular predictable information in simple everyday texts such as advertisements, brochures and timetables.
- to understand short, simple personal letters or e-mail messages.
Skills:
- to communicate in simple and common situations requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar topics and activities.
- to handle short social contacts.
- to simply describe one’s family, living conditions, one’s education and work.
- to produce a brief and simple written text on the topics studied.

Indicative content

 Orientation in space. Basic and compound local prepositions. Accommodation.
 Travel. Means of transport.
 Using estar-hay. Room description.
 Express the weather, orientation in time and space.
 Parts of the human body. Diseases.
 Imperfecto-indefinido (past narrative and description).
