Knowledge:
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to use in practice (i.e. in written and oral expression) the grammatical
the morphosyntactic level of the word types in the French language.
Competences:
The student will be able to use fluently and confidently the grammatical forms in question, taking into account the morphological and syntactic rules in force in contemporary French. He/she is oriented in the use of verb tenses and modes, especially in tense sequences, conditional clauses and indirect question and speech.
Skills:
The student is actively aware of the functioning and use of verbal types in practice (i.e. on concrete
texts) and can identify differences in usage in target and source language.
The student is familiar with basic grammatical rules as well as problematic phenomena within word types and can imply them adequately in their own speech and work with texts.

- Nouns (irregularities)
- Adjectives (irregularities, concord)
- Pronouns (problematic phenomena)
- Adverbs (irregular forms and gradation)
- System of past tenses and their usage
- Concord of past participle with subject and object
