• consolidating and deepening knowledge of the history and culture of France in the 20th and 21st centuries, particularly against the background of historical developments since the end of the Second World War;
• consolidating a general overview of current political and social developments in France.

• communicate at a professional level in a foreign language about the current social situation in France;
• critically reflect and interpret current social phenomena and events in France, analyse media discourse;
• make connections between social events in France and Slovakia.
Skills:
• improving language skills in professional communication and lexis on a selected professional topic;
• consolidation of skills in critical processing of professional issues.
