- Knowledge:
The student will acquire grammatical skills and lexical vocabulary related to his/her field of study. The student will learn to use polysemous words in order to express himself/herself accurately. The student will deepen his/her knowledge of syntactic constructions and sentences in written expression. Become familiar with standards specific to different genres of written expression: e-mail, letter, forum, article, etc.
- Competence:
The student is able to produce a coherent, structured and grammatically correct text. He/she can describe events, situations, experiences, express his/her own feelings, justify his/her own opinions, etc. Can adequately use logical connectors to strengthen the coherence and cohesion of the text. Is able to evaluate his/her own written expression in order to improve linguistically and methodologically.
- Skills:
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to produce narrative, descriptive and argumentative texts on everyday life topics with greater ease. The student is able to use linguistic devices adequately and correctly in writing in real communication situations.

Indicative content

 Developing style: reducing repetition and use of polysemous words, practicing precise expression.
 Gaining confidence in the use of syntactic constructions and sentences in writing.
 Effective use of punctuation.
 Improving understanding of the differences in speech forms conditioned by socio-cultural influences, eliminating the transfer of colloquial forms of expression into written expression.
 Adequate use of logical connectives enhancing coherence and cohesion of the text.
 Use of linguistic devices to expand or condense a text.

Full-time study: 104 hours. Of which:
26 hours – attendance at seminars
30 hours – preparation for seminars and for the interim evaluation
48 hours – preparation for the final exam
