• Knowledge about the three fundamental pillars of European civilisation, Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, and Christianity which had a decisive influence on the formation of civilizational processes on the European continent
• the causes, manifestations and especially their consequences of development of civilisations, cultures, and ideologies
• Comparison of formation of the European identity with other types of identities

• study of the reasons of historical movements and their consequences which have an impact on the current world and the position of Europe in it
