APVV č. APVV-19-0314 Discourse of Global Education and Its Practice in the Czech Republic and Slovakia , principal investigator, 2020- 2024. The research will analyze the international governmentality of the OECD's PISA Global Competence Framework, Slovak government documents on global education, the Czech non-governmental organization People in Need, the Slovak organization Človek v ohrození, and the NGOs NaZemi and Živica. NaZemi and Živica are specific due to their collaboration with postcolonial scholar Vanessa Andreotti, and our goal is to identify any differences between these two NGOs and the Slovak and Czech organizations Človek v ohrození. COST Action CA19129: Decolonization of development: research, teaching, practice, member of the Management committe, 2020-2024. The goal of the COST project is to create multi-, trans-, and interdisciplinary research spaces by systematizing and connecting existing efforts to decolonize development studies in teaching and practice. Another aim is to build knowledge on the decolonization of development studies by collecting and disseminating innovative best practices in teaching. Akcia Rakúsko-Slovensko, Aktion Österreich-Slowakei, Rakúska agentúra pre medzinárodnú spoluprácu vo vzdelávaní a výskume, č. ICM-2019-16141: Slovakia as a dependent market economy: political solution? consultant: Ao. Univ. Prof. Dr. Joachim Becker, Ekonomická univerzita ve Vídni, 2020. The aim of the project was to analyze the main issues of Slovakia's market-dependent economy based on existing research and statistics about Slovakia. These statistics included the volume of higher value-added production, the dominance of Western capital in Slovakia leading to profit outflows and intra-company flows, and specifically the foreign ownership of banks, which hinders strategic investment through banks.

GAČR č. 18-21864S: Mainstream and Alternative Economic Discourses in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, co-investigator, 2018–2020. Our aim was to find out what selected Czech and Slovak media write about in the field of economics, whether it is possible to speak of a “mainstream” and an “alternative,” and above all what the differences between them are with regard to economic issues. We also aimed to determine whether differences can be found between mainstream newspapers and economically focused magazines.We used the method of critical discourse analysis, metaphor analysis, and qualitative content analysis, and the project team conducted a series of interviews with the authors of the analyzed texts.

APVV č. APVV-16-0540: Human Rights and Sustainable Development in the EU's External Relations, investigator, 2017-2020. The project focuses on the analysis of European law provisions in the field of the EU's external relations, with an emphasis on the application of the principle of respect for human rights and the principle of solidarity in fulfilling sustainable development goals by the EU and its member states, while adhering to the principles of subsidiarity and loyalty.
