APVV, No. APVV-19-0314 The Global Education Discourse and its Practice in Czechia and Slovakia, principal investigator, 2020-2024. The proposed research will analyze the international governmentality of the PISA Global Competence Framework, the Slovak GE governmental documents, the Czech and the Slovak NGOs People in Peril, NaZemi and Živica. NaZemi and Živica are specif due to their cooperation with the postcolonial scholar Vanessa Andreotti and our aim will be to find any differences between these two NGOs and People in Peril. The analysis will be based on the postcolonial approach and the methods for the analysis of selected documents will include the Critical Discourse Analysis, the analysis of metaphors and the qualitative content analysis. COST Action CA19129: Decolonising Development: Research, Teaching and Practice, Management Committee member, 2020-2023. The aim of the COST project is to build a multi-, trans- and interdisciplinary research landscape by systematizing and interlinking existing efforts of decolonizing development scholarship, teaching and practice. Develop awareness for decolonized development (studies) by collecting and disseminating innovative best practices of pedagogy and practice. Bridge asymmetries in knowledge production through systematically incorporating and canonising decolonial scholarship into curricula and syllabuses.

These would include the amount of production with a higher value added, the dominance of the foreign capital in Slovakia that leads to the outflow of profits, but also intra-firm flows, more specifically, the foreign ownership of banks that prevents strategic investment through banks. GAČR, No. 18-21864S: Mainstream and Alternative economic discourses in Czechia and Slovakia, co-investigator, 2018-2020. Our aim was to find out what do selected Czech and Slovak media write about within the economic realm, whether it is possible to speak of a mainstream and an alternative with regard to these media and most importantly, what is the difference between them with regard to economic issues? We used the critical discourse analysis method, the analysis of metaphors, qualitative content analysis and we will conduct interviews with the authors of the analyzed texts. Proposed project is focused on analyze of EU law provisions in area of EU external relations, with the special focus on application of principal of human rights and principle of solidarity, while contributing to sustainable development goals achievement by the EU and member states, with the respect of the principle of subsidiarity and principle of loyalty in connection to the the aim to identify the role of the EU in external relations in priority areas of European and international law, and provide basis of recommendations to effective work of EU as international actor.
