The main objective of the project is to create a transnational Social Media Leadership Incubator for Youth in Rural Areas, which will serve as a tool for strengthening leadership skills and empowering youth, thus contributing to the development of sustainable democracies in the Danube Region. The main target group is youth from less developed rural communities, but activities will also be aimed at academia, SMEs, NGOs and the media. Building leadership and social media skills capacities will support youth participation in active citizenship and ultimately in the future leadership of rural communities in the Danube Region. The project will be managed and implemented by a diverse but balanced consortium of 20 partners (Lead Partner, 15 Project Partners and 4 Associated Strategic Partners) from all 14 countries of the Danube Region, with complementary competences, experiences and expertise. This will create synergies that will ensure high relevance and quality of results.
