VEGA 1/0046/20 Consumer attitude towards electromobility in the automotive market in the Slovak Republic; duration: 2020 - 2022; type of participation: research team leader
Electromobility has become a major focus in the automot. industry. The EC's interest in reducing the environ. burden of transport has led to the promotion of various forms of alternative propulsion in transport. Since 2016, the SR has pursued the requirements of the EC through a subsidy programme. However, this form of subsidy to support electromobility has been terminated in SR; the rest of the funds can be still used by municipalities to purchase electric vehicles. There is a lack of attitude of potential consumers towards the purchase and utilisation of electric vehicles, however, these attitudes are necessary for the real assessment of demand. This scientific project will focus on the attitude of consumers towards electromob.; its results and conclusions will benefit the praxis.
VEGA 1/0380/17 Economic efficiency of electromobility in logistics; duration: 2017 - 2019; type of participation: research team leader Electromobility (EM) is one of the key innovations in the area of logistics. Especially transport has been the most energy demanding area of logistics, which reflects significantly in the negative impact on the environment. EM represents currently an ideal alternative to traditional engines, which require fossil fuels. EM can be called a “green innovation” in combination with electric energy, which is generated from renewable resources. The decisions of companies to implement “green innovations” into practice are on one hand highly dependent on the economic difficulty of their acquirement and on the other hand, on the benefits gained by their use. The barriers to the implementation and expansion of electromobility can be eliminated only by a thorough economic model, which points out its visible advantages. The progress in the research and development of electromobility as well as in the necessarily related technologies, is constantly changing the conditions of the economic balance."
VEGA 1/0134/14 Support for innovation in distribution processes through the introduction of modern technologies and optimization of logistics activities with a focus on reducing the burden on the environment and increasing the quality of life ; duration: 2014 - 2016; type of participation: research team leader
Logistics and its technol. are fundamental to creating solutions for innovation in processes of goods and services distribution. The added value of innovation in this area creates pressure for their implementation. The actual logistics creates the negative externalities in the interaction with the environment and the quality of life. The situation of the quality of life and environmental protection increases the pressure on the development of advanced logistics technol. There is significant rise in new economic approaches, which evaluate economic performance through evaluation of the quality of life. The main objective of this project is the verification and support of benefits from such logistics technol., which will be in maintaining and improving performance by reducing the cost burdens (or keep it) and focus on reducing the burden on the environment and quality of life. Logistics technologies, methods and fields, which will be innovated in this direction, will have especially interdisciplinary character."
